well done scotty, i know where im taking my truck when i need a clutch changing, i'll be your tool runner for the day, i was thinking it might be easier to remove the engine that way you could change leaking seals, gaskets and the clutch, coreplugs etc, anybody done it this way, seemed better than laying on your back allday;
Add scoty to th the good garage guide

I find the Kl71's very quite on the road tbh...
they are compared to the last set of muds i had on which were technic amazons, sounded like a giant bee when you got up to about 45 mph

Hi guys/girls here is what I would like to do to my terrano lwb.

lift the body with body lift kit say 2" if this can be done without to much hassle with brake lines etc.
What company do you recommend for kit suspension lift 2" rear.
seen the springs on here what do I do with front ?
new std springs and adjust torsion bar ?
also replace all bushes.
front and rear new chunky tyres, 50/50 which type don't know and fit 30mm wheel spacers. I have 235/70/r16 already what you think would be a safe bet without cutting anything and stuff
mpg not bothered runs on veg
many thanks

hummingbird has 2" lift springs i think still. and torsion bar should be enough to lift the front i belive. body lift just beed some spavers made up, and longer bolts.

spacers will cost around 100 quid i found it cheaper to buy bigger off set rims with good tyres on 31 10.5 15

easy job

pretty simple to do,if you have a look at my other posts on this its all in there(sorry can't be bothered to type it all again. )
some pics in the gallery in the vehicle mods section.

milner off road do a bodylift kit for about £80.

ok mate will pop off ot look,

no cash to get spingsyet. but also thinking of a play car..

play car

if you go for a short wheel base you can do an inch and half lift just by fitting lwb springs(have got a pair for sale)

i didnt think of another terrano.. but i can see the attraction...

another t2

if i had the cash i would have a short wheelbase for off road.nearly bought my mates mav but being put on short time at work stopped that one dead in its tracks :(
