Always match an axle, front to rear is your choice but can change characteristics, I wouldn't have thought two similar types would make a huge difference.

Insurance may be another ??? :thumb2

I'm sure Coopers are still making them:augie I know they are still being sold in the US but there is a chance the EU do gooders have stopped them coming into the UK & Europe like they did with the General Grabber AT2 as they said they were to noisy:doh

Try camskill tyres, direct tyres, jcs or black circles to name a few.
Have seen them on eBay but could be old stock so ask for manufacturing date from the supplier.

Order your tyres from the likes of http://tyresdirectuk.co.uk/ they've still got Cooper STTs on there :nenau

ATS should fit them for you so long as the tyres are new (my local one does).

Doesn't matter what tread you have as long as the axles are matched for size (although ideally you have the same tread and tyre manufacturer per axle).

On the Trol I'm Kuhmo KL71 MTs all round but I have a slightly more worn BFG MT on the spare (all 32" tyres though).
