Hi guys over the last few days I've been getting a strange sound from my front hubs when sometimes going over undulations in the road the front hubs sound like they are about to lock but I'm not moving the 4wd leaver and today I went over a speed bump and the sound persisted to the point of me having to stop and move the 4wd leaver back and forth then noise went away.

What is going on here then ??

My truck has been lifted with 2" spacers and 2" body lift and I'm now running 33's

I wanna get this sorted before the weather changes

Any help would be great guys

Paul

sounds like they are stuck, need serviced, cleaned. do they get hot?

.

They were only off a month or so ago and they looked clean but why would they stick on on there own when going over a bump in the road ??

Mine used to make a clicking noise, only way I could describe it and it sounds strange is. Can you remember as a kid, people used to stick chip forks on their bikes so they just touched the spokes. As the wheels turned it made a nclicking noise. Well that's the only way I can describe the noise. Unfortunately I didn't know what it was and one day one of the hubs really got hot, hot enough to have smoke coming out. If I remember right doesn't the drive shaft have a little movement which could be why it happens to yours over bumps.
