hi guys, can you help please?

I am still having problem with my Mav (96 2.7 tdi), here is what i need help with:

idle-I think its too low (about 500rpm) and I want to adjust it to 750 ish, but i cant. I have read the previous posts, they dont actually help because they dont detail HOW to adjust it. Can someone please advise? I can see the black sensor at the top of the pedal-two connectors attached, and two screws holding it on, I can also see the little micros switch behind the pedal arm.

as it is, when idling, i get hunting, almost as if it will stall, but revs dont fall, they rise, which is weird. yet if i hold the pedal down a touch, i am talking a small amount so idle is about 750 ish, its fine.

All sorts have been fixed recently, so its not maf or wires or even fuel filter. It does this when cold or warm. generally the engine runs ok, but SOUNDS slightly uneven to me...

My other issue, and I mention this in case its related, is my Crankshaft Position Sensor. I am assuming faulty, because the wiring looks ok (one main wire is joined in the middle, which is odd but someone on here thought it was normal) I get error 47-incorrect signal. I have checked it, all ok and cleaned-but fault code remains. I also get very very random stalling.

I really hope you can help guys, my Mav has been off the road now for over two months, and my faith in "nissan" parts isnt very good. I had no trouble liek this with my Fourtrak!! please help, i love my Mav but could really do with driving it-i ask for your help because i really cant afford a large garage bill for something seemingly so simple!!

thanks!

i recon its the same problem pete had, with that thing on the air inlet

i'm not so sure, I read this a while back. As far as I can see I DO have the EGR wotsit, but I havent unplugged and blocked it yet as I am not certain which pipe, and I am not certain this is the problem cause...

its not an egr valve its more a throttle valve for the air

ill do some pics
unless pete can
