Hello!

Posting on behalf of a newly converted mate :) (still trying to get his computer skills up and running!!)

Just brought a 2.4i with a sticky clutch pedal that wont fully return, notice they have recently replaced the bottom flexi hose to the cylinder so thinking air? i was going to bleed it but thought i'd see if anyone else had this issue before?

Many thanks

Daz

I had the same symptoms where I had to keep lifting the pedal and it wouldn't fully return every time with my foot when I drove(Pedal used to drop overnight as well).I had to change my Master Cylinder in the end .
You could very well take the slack out of the pedal by taking the pin out from the back of the pedal where bracket joins the MC and turn the bracket(It is threaded) a few times to ring the pedal up.Bit of an awkward job.
