Sterling 'Touch' te2-1167/09000 imobiliser

I hope you guys can help me.

I have a Sterling 'Touch' te2-1167/09000 immobiliser fitted to my Nissan which was fitted by a previous owner.The problem is that I can't find out how to use it nor a fitting diagram.

The fob that came with it seems to do nothing and the sensor LED flashes all the time whether driving or parked.

I've tried touching the fob on it without effect. I'm just worried that one day the thing will start working and that will be me stranded.

Is it possible to re-program it?

is the fob got batteries etc? maybe it was causing probs to previous owner and its been disconnected :nenau

Hi. No it has no batteries.Just dumb chip with circular contacts.

Ohh, I know the things you mean, my dads Toyota has the same setup the chip could be damages of the receiver could be faulty, 'that's the part that senses the RFID chip"
