Will this be suitable for the Terrano?

I need to remove mine as not only does it have a split on the horn about 3 inches long, the top of the wheel is wearing really badly and coming off in chunks in my hand and is currently being held together with insulation tape :doh

I also now have 2 more added issues that have occurred since I fitted the extra donut on the steering joint lets just say I didn't keep the steering wheel in the centre position and i've broken the SRS Spiral Cable and the Audio Cable for the stereo controls

Next job, sourcing expensive Mk4 parts :doh

Loosen the nut a couple of turns until it is just proud of the thread, then while pulling on the wheel tap the nut with a hammer.
This method has previously worked well for me.

I've always loosened the nut or bolt a few turns & pulled & wiggled the steering wheel hard until it comes loose:augie reason for leaving the nut or bolt inplace is so you don't smash the steering wheel into your face when it comes free & i've seen it happen:lol:lol

I felt it happen...:doh:doh

right on the bridge of the nose
:lol:lol

Don't need a puller man, undo the nut and just wiggle the wheel with some pressure on it :thumb2

Nah, remove the nut, it's more fun :lol:lol
Just make sure your wearing a high viz jacket...health and safety you know :augie
