yes it would. on mine i noticed id forgot to put it back in so left it out and it wore the front hub gear out

expensive error.
spend the time getting it right

What bit did you leave out ? The brass bearing spacer behind the knuckle or the silver spacer that goes on before the snap ring for the auto hub ?

Ahh, mine's in but I think it might be the wrong way round. The hub only needs to move in a mm or so and I'll be able to get the second spacer and snap ring on.
Spanners out again......

And it's still pulling to the basterd left !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pulling to the left

hi, just to let you know i have the same problem, if thatll cheer you up, lol. youre not the only one.
something which light help you, if it is pulling or "dipping to one side" when you put the brakes on, it is most likely a wishbone bush. i found that out on my volvo. and not the calipers.
could i ask you what the torsion bars are situated please, cos its something im looking into before the inside of my tyre starts showing bear metal !!
cheers

full laser alignment check at specialist, not just tracking.

pricey but cheaper than new tyres and restore what is a
good ride for a vehicle this size.
