yep connector is a 12 mm and a push on connector just had a new set of bushes put in mine £24 and now as good as new

Had a resent dodgie solenoid fault on my Maverick, coming from electronics background and looking at removing the starter (and being lazy) I decided to to check my ignition switch. Turns out that the grease ford uses to lube the switch turns to tar after 15 years. A good clean and minor challange to get back together... piff paff poff.... Sorted. (and saving £70 to £110 on a starter)

PS, On a diferent matter and noting other posts (1996 Mav model only for ref) pumping or pressing the throttle whilst cranking has no effect as its disabled until the key returns to position II.

Yeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 1p of a litre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kiss my arse and suck my balls Mr Chancellor :-{ Grrr
