hoping to get out over the weekend and do a few lanes around the derbyshire dales.
this is my 3rd lifted terrano so i know from experience as to what they can(and can't) do.
did a route in the yorkshire dales a couple of years ago in my old beast which had some very challenging lanes,as richo found out and the old terrano never missed a beat.
i think the vids might still be on here in the greenlaning forum.

Sweet. Driving up monsal is a good one, and pindale quarry. But a stock 4x4 will do them

I found lifting was best for deep ruts as my front crossmember/under tray has much improved clearance

Also I'd say holinsclough down and up the other track to the right, but go with another truck and u may bend your side steps

Got a question about body lifts.

Most of these trucks have a few years under their belts and I know that the tin worm has gotten hold on some more than others. Does the body lift put extra stress on the weakened body shells?

is this the one that crosses through the river dove?
just up the road from longor if i remember correctly.
did it in my old green monster if this is the right one.

I'd imagine so as the center of gravity is higher so more forces exerted on mount points during cornering.

But it won't matter in the slightest unless u have a corrosion problem around mounts, but that's a problem and an mot failure on any truck stock or not

only doing the suspension lift on mine.have only ever had problems with ground clearance once but the ruts where about 2 foot deep so i should have known better.

Im doing Hollingsclough tomorrow at some point. We have a few trucks out so it should be a good day.

Not seen much of you around Stinka, we not good enough for you now matey, LOL
