My 'stabi off' light comes on occasionally and usually stays on until I have switched off for a while. When I re-start it has gone out. Is this a sensor or a dodgy connection issue?... Anyone else had this?:(

It's the electric rear anti-roll bar disconnect Rick.

It's known to stop working, but my light occcasionally came on before I removed my ARBs, a quick press of the switch to turn it back on when you're stopped at lights etc and the indicator light should go off bud :thumb2

Mine doesn't reengage until I'm on a straight road or stopped sometimes... But sometimes it does... Just depends how it's feeling :thumbs

Mine never stayed on until I lifted the suspension, once you do this I think it becomes harder for the device to lock up again as the angles are changed, not really tested mine as only had the mod on for two days but it has not put the light on as yet.

Kind regards

Russell.

Got some gadgets you trol lads :D

Kind of ironic with the amount of offroading I've done that out of the three offroad Trol gadgets, ARB disconnect/ rear difflock/ heat switch (increases the idle revs) I've only got one left  :lol

Removed the ARBs and I've broken the difflock :)doh got my Lokka fitted though)

Heat switch is useful for winching though (helps stop you draining the battery).

I use the heat switch for jumping. ( because I don't have a winch.:()

There's a switch in the recovery trucks that increases the revs to use the hydraulics.
Years ago, when i was a nipper, I remember using a hand throttle in an old lr. Don't suppose they worked the same though:lol

Ah, it's for cold starts, you press it to warm the engine up quicker, like a choke!!

My terrano doesn't have a choke, doesn't need one :augie, thought they were old tech anyway :nenau

Does anyone else have a choke on their terrano?, Jim?, Banshee?? :p

I think Rustic has one on his TD :nenau

Only ever seen one TD sure it had a hand throttle, but you all know what my memory is like, Rick
