squeaky noise from prop shaft

as the title says i seem to have a squeak from where the rear prop shaft comes out of the gearbox.it only seems to be there when i start the car and turn it off.
could it be the u/j thats on its way out:nenau

grab hold of it to see if there is any play in it

Are you sure it's the prop shaft, it could be the clamp on the exhaust on the gearbox, the "U" bolt comes loose, you may need 2 nuts on each thread, as lock nuts.
This was the problem on mine a while back.

Check this & grease ya UJ's after making sure theres no movement :thumbs
