Hi All,
Wind ripped door out of my hand last week  now the door lock has started to rub, im guessing its strained the hinges. Any advice on a fix would be appreciated thanks
Ry

Check the A post, the panel that the hinges bolt on to or even the door where the hinges bolt on. If it is just the metal panel that is sprained then a lump of wood and gentle taps from a hammer may do the trick.

Hold on to the door more tightly when its windy in future.

I work on top of a hill and it's clear all round wind almost pulled me and the door round today, what advice now eat more! :p

I have the wood, I have the hammers, all I need now is some self control!

Did hinges on father in laws disco the other week, they snapped the pins clean through when he had it pulled out of his hands. Devil of a job though changing hinges on disco, can't just put new pins in, still not finished it off, need to borrow lazzy tong riveter for some ¼" pop rivets

Theres some HERE

Lazy - cos they allow you to pull big rivets with relative ease, the ones to go in the disco door are too big for ordinary pop rivet 'gun'.

Just off the A1 between Leeds and Selby - South Milford, if you happen to be a biker (or ex biker) you'll know Squires coffee bar, just up the road in Sherburn in Elmet.
