I was wondering if i could run spotlights on the foglight feed i do have a switch but much prefer if they worked direct off the stalk

Thanks

Technically, as long as you used a relay, yes...

But....

Your fog lights come on on side lights, where as your spotlights should only come on, on Main beam, so you would be breaking the law, and dazzling other drivers.

Fogs dont come on with sidelights keep it switched off on the stalk

I wire them so spotlights can be on all the time, off all the time or on with main beam.

Because sometimes if your wading or plan to wade you don't want to use your normal lights.

I know that, what I mean is, Spots are not allowed to come on with side lights only, where as Fogs are, so if you wire up to the fog switch, they will be illegal.

Wire them up straight from the battery and run them on an independent switch like I do;

Voila

I have one switch for the roof lights and one for the bull bar spots

I have my roof lights on a foot dip switch, so I can either have them on with main beam, or not, and a switch on the dash overrides that, and turns them on all the time.

My method only needs one switch and a normal relay. :thumb2

If you put the bars as far forward as you can on the roof, like mine are, when you put the standard "Cheap" (Lidl's in my case) ladder racks across the roof bars, they sit above the spot lights anyway, even with them on the top, just as long as you do not go for anything other than the rectangular ones, or small round ones anyway.
