I would have expected it to be more milky indicating water in the oil, maybe the breather was clogged with mud so limiting the water ingress, reminds me I must check the diff oil on my off roader, Rick

Anybody know how you remove the front diff breather out? Replaced my rear breather aswell the other day.

Cheers Gav

interesting point, as it is bent, just been out and had a look at my spare, lots of crud on it but looks like it is the same as a brake pipe, sleeve nut pipe stays still, so if you are able to get a new one just break the old pipe and unscrew and discard the old nut, replace with new, Rick

gear and transfer has tho, GL4 too :clap:clap

The modified oil for the transfer box from Nissan is ATF it stops heavy oil drag in winter causing the front prop to turn so locking the front hubs when not needed, Rick

ATF fluid? But is that got lubricating properties?

Ok, I don't know what size the Nissan pipe is. Hosetail sizes are available 5mm (1/4") upto 19mm(1/2") and thread size too.
