I'm considering changing the OE fog and spotlight rocker switches on my 1994 T2 for the "illuminated when on" type.

Would someone be so kind as to whip out either a switch if you have them or a blanking plate if not to measure the aperture, my Terrano resides in Spain, and I would like to get a couple of these switches before I go over at the end of this month.

Ta very muchly

not so easy mate you need extra wire to turn on a bulb when on and you will not have it, Rick

Bugger - I thought that would have been dealt with internally in the switch, thanks for letting me know though Rick.

The only extra wire you will need will be an earth for the bulb, which can be a wire a few inches long to reach a metal part of the structure.

There's plenty of un painted steel work under the dash:doh:doh:doh

Why did they never paint this? Cost I guess.:augie

You could always fit an LED with current limiting resistor, drill a small hole near the switch, epoxy in from the back. simples...

That sounds like a plan, any idea what sort of value resistor I should be looking for?
