sounds like you still have air in the system, I have never bled my brakes in the conventional way, (3 running t2's) I have removed the rear shoes and allow the pistons to come almost fully out then after a while (after getting new shoes ready etc) push the pistons back home, this pushes all the air back to the master cyl, same applies to the fronts push the piston back home with a G cramp then reassemble and pump peddle till pads in contact with disk again, all much better than shearing a bleed nipple, but more important I can do it on my own, Rick
