hi, my terrano's speedo seems quite "out", gps says 30mph, t rex says 38!?
is this normal or a fault i can fix? thanks, mike.

nothing to worry about :augie my speedo is out by 5 mph......:lol

thanks, one less job to worry about then :D
i may well tippex "real" speed limit points onto speedo, for peace of mind!

yeah these cars read well over, and its not a fault as far as i know!

thanks, what size would they be? excuse my newbness! she's running 16" alloys at the moment, with 235/16/70's, if my memory serves correctly. :thumb2

I'd start with 31's mate as other wise you'll need body lift and 2" suspension lift, depends how MAD FOR IT you are :D

Get some 7x15 Mitsubishi shogun steel rims (-25 offset) then get some 31 10.5 15 tyres

:thumb2

Oh and do a 2" lift, which u can do for less than £40 here:

cheers chaps, something for the future perhaps, mainly because shes got loads left on the tread front of things, and partly because i'm a bit skint after chrimbo!
how do they handle with a body lift? i was hoping to put wheel spacers on too, any one know how wide i can go without having longer bolts fitted?
thanks again, mike.

Don't bother with spacers, neg offset rims, shogun wheels and import hilux surf rims are -15 to -25

What do you want spacers for ?

Body lift not needed until u go up to 33"

Start with 2" suspension lift and remove rear anti roll bar for better rear axle articulation

I have no rear ARB and 2"suspension lift and I still hit roundabouts at 70mph, poly bush the front arb helps tho

i thought the extra width might help handling somehow? being a bit wider like?
the 4wd appears to be working as we took it in a bit of mud earlier, purely for research you see :lol
