Speedo Cluster

I have had trouble with my LCD display yet again, have had it out, but still works then won't work.

I have a chance of buying a nearly new, only 100 miles on the clock speedo cluster at a cheap price. BUT, he tells me that it will fit a 2004 T2 onwards. Mine is a 2001. It looks the same, with a little change to the face, font etc.

He has given me the part number - 24810-2X813

I rang Nissan and they said I needed part number - 248100X001

He may have missed a 0 out or I may have added a 0??

Has anyone had any experience with renewing this unit and would a 2004 onwards work on my 2001?

this is where I get my parts numbers from . http://nissan4u.com/parts/terrano2/...al/instrument_meter_and_gauge/illustration_2/ . how did you get a Nissan dealer to give you a part number ? . I tried mine local dealer and they said Nissan don't give part numbers out ?

Just gave them my chassis number and they gave me the number :nenau

has your speedo got 2 reset pin on it . that would make me think it wouldn't work as mine as mine only has 1 pin for the tachometer reset ? and I think your is the same age as mine ?

the pin on the front to set the time and reset the tachometer when you fill up with fuel ? I would check that the one your thinking of buying has 2 . one between the rev and fuel and the other between the temp and speedo

looks identical to mine, and mine is a 2004 :thumb2 :nenau

but the terrano changed in 2004 mine is the model between 1999 and 2004

I would say no then . the cheapest second-hand one I have found is £200 for a good one. you need to find one that has come from a 2000-2004
