Speedo and clocks.

Hello All,
Can anyone tell me if i can fit a 2.7 Diesel complete speedo cluster / Dash into a 2.4 petrol as mine has completely failed, Nothing works on it at all. Will i get speedo, fuel gauge and temp gauge back even if the rev counter goes higher on the petrol and will give a false reading.

Will i have any other problems. Thanks in advance.

Diesel speedo`s are 2 a penny but the petrols are rare secondhand.

What year is your terrano i have 1994 petrol and diesel clocks they have same plugs but the petrol doesnt have glow or water in fuel light it has gearbox check light it that place.Have petrol one available if yours is mk1

Mick I used a place in Leicester for my Scenic dashboard when that went. I put their details on Willows Good Garage Guide thread, might be worth giving them a call and see if they can fix yours.

It's the later mk2 as seen in the avatar :thumbs

Thanks for the replys, yes its a December 2000. T2.

2 electrical plugs to connect that's all, 10 minute job to swap over, I can get a cheap diesel 2.7 dash, just need to get temp and fuel gauge working until a 2.4 dash comes along.
