It depends on the age of your truck what size is fitted the later ones have 5x7" front & rear:augie I've replaced every thing apart from the front tweeters fitted 6.5" up front & 5.25" in the rear doors but you need to make up some MDF baffles so they can be added & have a custom build enclosure in the boot to house a 10" sub:D Those speakers aren't any good as they are 3 Ohm jobs you need 4 Ohm ones if your just going to run them from the stereo:thumbs

Mine is 2001 sowould I be better to measure first? Thanks for noticing they were 3ohms didn't spot that lol I used to install audio years back too I'm ashamed haha:doh

The terrano speakers are damn crap sizes, I bought some really good speakers for the doors, but a lot of cutting n hassle was involved, otherwise you are very limited in your availability

That's because you didn't make up speaker baffles:p mine bolted straight up & the magnets are huge compared to the standard crap:lol Might start making some baffles up to sell if there is any interest but will need to try a slightly different version of what i've made up for mine to give better staging:augie

2001 should be 5x7" all round but the Ohm bit is easy to over look almost been court out myself before:doh you have far better options for round speakers over oval ones but it all comes down to what you want from your stereo system, my Son isn't happy with his 700w RMS set up any more so the power is getting doubled & there will be 4x 12" subs where he once had a back seat:lol:lol:lol

3 door maverick speakers the same size? Just upgraded to an alpine stereo and it's shown up just how crap the standard speakers are.

The rears are 4x6" I think on the SWB & I think the fronts could be the same size but poss 5x7" can't remember now as it's been a few years since I had my SWB

Y audio

You don't have to make baffles, we cut and bent the metal then used sound deadener on the door metal and also as a bulkier for the speakers, it's a bit flexi too until it sets. Then screw through that and make new screw holes, job done, sounds ace!

Only need to bend existing metal in doors, and cut some, it's just a bit messy, also speakers didn't want to fit in door, windows were catching or door card was catching, we had to do some er... Alteration :augie

I'm just checking sizes

If baffles are used you don't have to cut any metal for the speaker baskets to clear the inner door skin & there is enough clearance for a 18mm baffles to be used which also helps seal up the door.
