Spare Wheel!

I have just checked my spare wheel,there is an electrical wire going to a connector on the bracket...any clues????
Doesn't seem to do anything??

Where abouts on the bracket? is it on the outside of the tailgate or inside?

It may be an earth wire for something, a high level brake light or work lamp of some kind perhaps.

It is probably to do with your alarm, I am sure the later models had this. Try locking the car and setting the alarm, then remove the spare

so alarm goes off if some little scroat tries to have it away with spare? cool!

I don't know why this was in introduce mav... :lol: it is right where the bracket is Doesn't seem to attach to anything??? looks abit like an alarm pressure switch but nothing is touching it and it does not move...strange.. :lol:
