I'm sure someone said you can take it of, turn it 'upside down' and refit it to get a couple of extra inches. :nenau

How much space do you need??

Well not sure about moving the bracket, but im sure you could fabricate a plate to bolt to it allowing the height difference needed!?!?

If you turn it upside down you'll get maybe an inch
I've got a 32 on the back as spare at the mo

ok will try turning it upside down see if that helps

didnt really wanna do it in the rain but working tommorow

Hey Darwin, I'm also going 265x75x16..

My question is... what exactly have you done to the original spare wheel carrier to allow for the larger wheel?

thanks

a bit off topic, but i used to do this to troopers years ago and putting spacers under the braket and longer bolts used to work for me.

A picture speaks 1000 words

1 x sheet of 5.5mm ally checkplate 250mm x 500mm (I think)
4 x M10 Stainless Bolts & Washers
16 x M10 Nylon washers
6 x M12 Stainless washers

Well i have to do something with mine now sheared off 2 of the bolts changing a wheel! :( oh the joys!!

you need to spray you NUTS with WD40

or get some cream from the doctors

Remember Dadba fitted a wheel spacer on his patrol to give more room, with bigger tyres.

Yeh but you need the height too, as Darwins job works for me:thumbs
Spacer needed to let the windscreen wiper work:lol
