I dont have a bleeper or battery
I have found the maker of the immobolizer from the name on the fob
He can supply me with another plastic fob but not a key.
I have to tare the steering collom apart to find the imobolizer where the code number for the fob will be :!: Then I have to key in the new fob
Simple     -rotfl-

hi willow, i removed my immobiliser on monday, it was located to the right of the fuse box, removed lower dash panel and it was fixed to the side panel, it may be of some help.

Thanks tezzer
I was thinking along the lines of removing it so its that easy is it I thought if I tampered with it it may just stop terrano from starting all together.
Ill take a look this weekend.
Going to the main dealer to see if they can get me a spare key.
Been told to look in glove conpartment for a sticker somtimes the key number is in there it starts with an x followed by numbers.
:( Its not there in mine but this may help someone else
Thanks all

Good news
Got a spare key cut at the local diy place in town only cost a fiver.

now just need to dissconect the immobolizer and the job will be done.

Thanks Jim for the help  the key was very rounded off the guy in the shop said it was a good job I got it done before it got any worse.

-cheers-

Guess i should get one cut too...

both ours are a little bent

My key did'nt have a chip in it so it was easy to do

If it has the chip its a main dealer job i think.

Bent keys what do you do with them
