clive it the springs off its an mot fail also if you remove it or bypass it. mine went on my troll.. all they do is alter the breaking ratio's (front to back) under load but as it there from new it must remain there.

OK Clive I got it off no problem the internals are fee and working as far as I can tell, but you will probably need to renew the brake pipes if they have not been done recently, as it will be impossible to remove the unions without screwing the pipes, I have removed the whole thing including the spring and bracket on the axle, you would be wise to spray penetrating oil on the two bolts and two nuts as they are likely to be tight/rusted and you do not want to shear them off, PM me you address and I will post them off asap, Rick
