Many list several Nissan models, this one say Terrano.

The problem with conversions like these is that they rely on you using your original key internals meaning that you are no better off in the long run as the buttons that are soldered onto the boards are the issue.

I remember seeings Ad Ent doing a conversion on here a few years ago and did a few of my own but in the end the quality of the enclosures got that bad that the little nib on the underside of the buttons doesn't quite line up right with the buttons on the boards :doh

Banshee you hit the nail on the head fella, the circuit boards full stop are not very well constructed. The switches can be a real pain, even replacing them can be a pig especially some of the replacements from eBay as they tend to be far too small especially the rubber heads on the switches themselves.
