As you may have read - see Mac Challenge thread - I'm doin g te Mac 4x4 Challenge. As such some of te planned mods are being put on hold as they won't e needed for that and some will just slow me down and I've not got time for them and the other bits I do want to do before the event.


ON HOLD

Winch and winch bumper
HD rear bumper
Rock/tree sliders
Front end lift kit (not winding torsion bars up)
Snorkel


TO DO

Full Service - change filters, fluids and all belts, keep old belts as spares
Roof rails - need to mount roof rack again for lights, shovel, Hi-Lift etc
Trip Meter - I have a Brantz Laser3 to fit
Radios - Need to get CB and Ham rigs installed
Lights - lamp pod, roof lights, rear worklights, interior flourescents to fit
Wiring - lights, radios, extra power points etc
Storage - make Aussie style storage in boot for stuff, plus secure storage for 2 x 20L jerry cans.
Spare wheel(s) - source 16" steel spare and 2 tyres.

Ohh and ....... RAISE SPONSORSHIP MONEY


Theres probably more - will add em as I think of em.
 
Well I've done one task, got a set of 4 265/75/16 colway MT's on fontera alloys. That gives me 2 spares for the Mac and 2 to leave at home.

These may be for sale post event - will have to see how things go.

i cant stop modding my truck... sorted the front grill out and done arch extensions today ... as i took tha a bar off



finnish the front end mods tomorrow then will add some pics

Nice one Trex, have you fitted the wheeels yet?
as thats the size I'm going for and wondered if all's well?

I bought them as a cheap way of getting 2 spares - I already have that size on and they are not straightforward to fit, I still need to replace the front end bushes on mine to see if that cures the rubbing and I have a proper 2" lift not the slightly less than 1.5" that LWB springs give.
 
I've still got to fit the 2" springs I had from you so should be ok at the back. These bushes at the front have been discussed before but are they avail. in polybush?
