I’m helping a neighbour build a chopper, just got in after an evening grafting a rather large engine in to a not so large frame and the fun is to continue in the morning only to be dampened by a shopping trip later on in the day, oh joy.

 I'm off to pick up my next maverick. Then I'm picking up my new kite buggy. So it better be windy tomorrow cause I'm ready for some beach action 8O May get a chance to worry some sheep later :!:
Sunday got to do family stuff :? something to do with a fat bloke and kids wish lists  bah humbug

Oooh you Doubting Thomas, as daft as it may sound although we are "enjoying" temperatures in the mid 80's I would much rather be back in the Uk with my wife and family :(

Alison and I finished 14th overall and got the award for 1st mixed crew apparently, though we didn't stop for the rsulst to go final as it had been a long night and it was the first time we'd left Amy over night so we wanted to get back. Would have been top ten but for a mess up by me in the first competetive which cost us 5 mins - ho hum, theres always another time.

Well done to you both. -welldone-
Bet you had great time tho ?

Aye was a great night. Lots of lanes I've never seen before, the fog stayed away fortunately and it only really got icy late on (or should that be early it was about 4.30am) but by then Alison had got back into te swing of things anyway - its been 9 years since she drove on an event of that status and probably 5 since she did anything so was a bit rusty at first.

Not a mega regular thing but maybe a couple of outings a year on our more loacl events. I (PJ Parts) sponsor the championship so I sometime go along with the van and then marshal, though I've neded up navigating on 2 others this year. ! non finish in a very hot mini (belw engine) and a 4th OA back in June.
