ours has been and gone, two hours of traffic brought to a near standstill, minor collisions and frayed tempers and then back to cold grey and drizzel :(

at least a good covering of snow brightens the place up a bit :thumb2

snow is good , it makes all the gardens look the same :augie:lol

we still goy about 1mm if it on the grass but the rest is gone lets hope feb brings us loads more

Here it started at 6:45 this morning and snowed for 4 hours, and resulted in 3" , 75mm of snow, and it is mostly still there.

Lorries and buses blocked roads with even a slight slope on them.
A 10 minute journey took 40.

All gone here, but we still have the rest of Jan and all of Feb to go.:thumbs

I love it when your on the dual carriageway and as often as not whilst lane 1 is doing 25mph its more than ok to head out into lane 2 and hit a higher speed even through the snow or slush. You nearly always get an X5 type pratt mobile pulling out behind you.......................then dropping rapidly back :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

I had that happen to me once, i pulled out, made my own lane in the snow, Mr X5 joined me and almost crapped him self as he started to go sideways. then his indicator came on to get back in to the "Q".

Why the hell do you put 255/40/18 on ANYTHING! oh yes i forgot, to look COOL.
