I always keep provisions in my terrano, food that the MOD get, so you either cook it with the rad water or on the turbo:thumb2

Old post I know but cooking food with water out of the Rad will lead to dealth as anti-freeze is deadly stuff if ingested plus your motor running low on water ain't going to do it any good:augie

My Dad, in the 60's :doh used to wrap cornish pasties in Tin foil, place them on the exhaust manifold, and drive a few miles, once you could smell them, they were ready.:clap:clap:clap

Good point on the rad water... Even if you were mad enough to run a car without antifreeze in the winter, there would probably still be a host of other contaminants in any water in the system. Prefer the idea of a pasty on the exhaust.

I like the way the steam engine guys do it. At Strumpshaw, they had roast beef, Jacket spuds, plus steamed veg. They wrap all it all in several layers of tin foil, and then stick it in the smoke box for the day. Looked really good.

Yeh but if you really had to cook some army rations stuff in the rad water , you just leave the rations in their bag :nenau
Then empty once cooked and return water to rad, simples :thumbs

That's, 'em forgotted the name:doh, I get them from a guy a few miles away whos a specialist in new ands ex army/MOD equipment, I am going to buy some ammunition cases, creates, Gerry cans for storage on my roofrack and camouflage net to tie everything down:thumb2 basically I'll be going the full army treatment on my rack on my terrano

Only Problem wiv camouflage is when you get Lost / stuck no one can find you:augie
