Jace i,d have thought logic would dictate the head facing backwards due to sand /water ingress whilst moving forward.Would act as a funnel causing problems that they had.Dinky

well ive always thought they should face backwards but if u look on ads etc all facing forward,i look at a hgv they have em backwards thats all i base my thoughts on.
aparently the hope of having them higher is to avoid thicker parts dust an water but gues that was really bad!

i supose the idea of them facing forwards is to ram the air in to the air intake system instead of trying to draw air from behind. but simple logic really...........if your going forward in to a dusty environment then you just turn the snorkel to face backwards.

yeagh i remember an ol suzuki i had "ram air induction" aparently you needed to do 120mph though to see any benefit trouble was it wouldnt do 120mph lol, snorkels do have holes/grooves in head bit for excess rain water to escape

itd look better if it went higher up finneshed level roof or maybe higher gonna be nasty blind spot theres another one knocking around somewhere where its kindve moulded into body shape finnishing low ontop rof stop branches etc snagging it

yeagh thats another thatll be in robbones newsletter for anyone wantin look!
