Why not hang on till it arrives as Fez says, then check out what you need ?
Or you might end up with another trevor winch senario :lol

Am I right that Elty has fitted his to the existing air box intake under the wing at the front ?
What I suggest Alex is to just come straight through the wing and engine bay to come straight into the back of the air box. It's easy to move it a bit to line up if needed but not knowing where the snorkel finishes I'm in the dark a bit.
As Fez says, just buy the thing and go from there :D

Fair point about waiting, also, what do you consider the "back of the airbox"

Nearest to the bulkhead or nearest to the wing?

Nearest to wing as I perceive the snorkel to finish in about the air box position.

Col, yes that's my idea, blanking the front original air intake hole and cutting a big bastard hole on the wing side :thumb2

If you have ordered the navara snork its easier to fit the flexible to the side of the airbox not the end.

Everyone seems to have different terminology here. Do you mean its easiest to use the original air intake hole? Or assets to mod the "side" facing the wing.

As I've ordered now I just wanted an answer on flange to flexi measurement :thumb2

Question is, if the flange is 70mm do I want the flexi internal or external at 70mm?

If the part you want the flexy pipe to fit over is 70mm OD you will need the flexy pipe to have an ID of 70mm if you bought a flexy pipe with a 70mm OD it's not going to slide over the flange as the ID will be around 68mm or so:augie

its just an excuse for another post :augie :thumbs

Oy naughty :naughty

Was a genuine reason  :lol

And regarding id and od I think I'm clear, obviously the flexi goes over the flange not inside, so therefore I want the internal of the flexi to be 70mm :thumb2

are you fitting it your self alex :thumbs

All hail Rick :lol :bow

But in all seriousness, I could bring down the polish n stuff again :naughty, although with the list in mind some cash will be needed :lol

This snorkel is actually prep for winter as when my front wheels spin up it chucks the debris near and into my air filter.... See a bit of a problem there through snow

Rick if your still online, do you think the flange and flexi will work? I haven't ordered yet. :nenau
