Hi fellas .. Started the 3lt terrano on Friday morning after a night of off road shooting(went well lots of mud water didn't get stuck once) but on turning the key lots of whitish smoke from the exhaust!! I do get a little puff of blue smoke on normal start up?? Is this normal and what could the white smoke have been?? After driving off down the road no smoke at all and was fine yesterday! Any ideas cheers rob ps engines running fine if a little under powered at low revs

Could it have been steam from any water that had washed into the backbox?

Whitish smoke on start up, usually means air in the fuel line.
Causes can be...
Poor sealing fuel filter, has it been changed recently?
Corroded fuel lines. Start at the top of the fuel tank and look for leakage near to the rear wheels.

Since the fuel is pumped from the injector pump on the engine, fuel is sucked from the fuel tank, this can allow air to be taken in.

Good luck.
