over the last 2 days , me and sheila have both noticed a very strong smell of cannabis whenever we come into the house from outside ...... after a while it subsides .... or perhaps weve got used to it ? ...... and no i dont use the stuff neither does sheila before anyone asks ...... sheila wants to ring the police , im not so sure ....... advice anyone ?

we live in a terraced house with a pensioner on one side and youngish couple of the other side , but they seem ok , quiet and friendly .

I guess it depends on if it offends you...

How well do you get on with the neighbours, if you can talk to them, then it might be worth asking out right.. You could say to the young couple, something along the lines of, "Not sure if you have noticed, but I think the old guy next to me must be using cannabis for pain relief or something, as it is smelling my house out, just wanted to say something, so you do not think it is me." See how they react...

Might just be a joss stick.. My wife likes them, but they make me sneeze. My sense of smell is not that good, but I can smell if one has been lit in the house for several hours after, so I dread to think how strong they must be for someone with a goods sense of smell.

Being a good clean person, you might not know what cannabis smells like, so would be worried it was a gas leak???:augie:augie Make it the gas boards problem...

Those horrible sticks of wood coated in some sort of powder, look a bit like a small welding rod, that you set on fire, then blow out, and it then continues smouldering, filling the house with obnoxious fumes, and spreading impossible to remove ash all over the local area... I love em... NOT

I know a fella who got raided for cannabis. They spotted his garage from the helicopter, all the other garages were covered in snow.

If it was me and the smell bothered me I would call the police for advice. They will probably come and have a word with the neighbours. Otherwise if you were to talk to the neighbours and it didn't stop which it wont do, who are they gonna look to when the cops show up?:nenau

Could be a gang of dope growers up there having knocked all the dividing walls down along the terrace and its all heat lamps and hydroponics!!!!

Pete, get the police rung mate. You and Sheila could be at risk anyway mate. First of all there's your health and also if someone is growing to create a smell so strong there surely must be a lot. So if theres a lot is there a chance of dealer turf wars and things. Get em rung mate to be on the safe side.

Tired and headache sounds more like carbon monoxide symptoms, I doubt the smell of cannabis could cause those symptoms.

Someone's growing next door blatantly

I smoked canabis heavily for 7 years in my youth but knocked it on head 10 yrs ago ( still wouldn't turn the odd spliff down tho )

U need to find out who it is and get round there to sample the goods ...
