Fantastic! No more rust issues on the sills. Just picked the truck up after having the job done. The bloke replaced both inner and outer sills front to back on both sides and capped both of them off in the rear arch. Even repaired centre body mounting. They are made from steel sheet and he folded them so they follow a nice contour. It no longer bows like the originals but it doesnt look odd. Hes finished them off with stone guard and them blasted them with shultz.

All that for £200!!!' Awesome job.

Thanks to IansTerrano for the contact.

Just incase anyone else needs some welding done this is the bloke.

WOW... both sides for that...
LWB or SWB?
How long did he need it for?

P I C S....

Can't get the sheet steel for that price....:nenau

Indeed he does need our business with a job like that. Its my old LWB so not exactly small. We took it down monday morning and left it with him until today. It was actually ready yesterday but i didnt have time to pick it up, I told him that i didnt need it until end of the week. As for pics i will try and take some but to be honest i doubt theyll come out very well. He used to own a Maverick so knows the trucks quite well. Im well chuffed

Blimey the T2 I have just got had £300 plus work on ONE side for the sill. Pity I don't live nearer to him :nenau

That sounds like a cracking job Jim, he is worth his weight in gold, for what he has done £300 plus would not have been out of order, Rick

He did a cracking job on ians terrano too, saw it when we had first yorkshire meet.
I got some photos earlier but im on the ipad and dont know how to transfer and post them on here
