ok, i'll try my best to explain what I am on about. You know the rear sill. If you look underneath and behind the sill, there are two removable rubber grommits, one lower than the other. What are these for? I ask because I am repairing my sills as some of you know, and today we noticed one leaking water from the inside. I figured some foam filler or waxoyl to fill the sill, to keep water out, but what are the grommits for??

I guess the gromets are there for you to let the water out :D
Dont fill the sills with foam though because the sun roof drains into the sills  so unless you reroute the drains you just need to waxoil the inside I think:augie
I just drilled some holes on the bottom of mine and the water comes in and out as it likes :lol

the grommets are there to block the hole, :lol:doh, seriously, i think there for rust treatment, keep them if you can, because you can use them to spray waxoyl into the sills, i would'nt advise foam as it can hold the water/ damp in sill, go for waxoyl, :thumb2

Ok thanks for advice, as extra precaution I'll drill a small hole in the bottom. Surely the sun roof drains don't drain into the sill though?? Plus, why would any water at all get into the sill?? Just trying to understand the design .. The sun roof drains,? How can I re route them, I think I'd like to!

The sunroof drains run down the screen pillar down to the sill. I think they're meant to drain out behind the front mud flap some where. A similar way at the back. I dont have mud flaps though and my sills are seriously er modified:sly so I have to let the water out via my drilled holes:thumbs
