Hi, been trying to find some side steps/running boards for my Ford Maverick 2.7 Diesel 3dr, swb 1994.
Prices are absolutely inflated for this vehicle & terranos. For other 4 x 4's you can get them for well under £40!!, Land Rover, etc.
Are there any other vehicles that I can be considering getting these from which will fit/adapt to the Maverick?
Cheers, Paul

Take a look at Shogun / Pajero :thumbs

Held on with bolts. If I remember correctly they just go into the chassis so no nuts.
If you know how to undo a bolt, they are easy to get off.
I have some but mine are LWB

The wife has to do a leap of faith when exiting my truck :lol
Always amusing outside Tescos :p She's not drunk honest

Hi Plank, what kind of price would you be asking? - Paul

preferred steps on t2 where bolted to chassis,
these on troll appear to fastened to sills.

the t2's reduced break over slightly but were
heavy enough to act as protection for the sills
i reckon.

tried getting in troll without using 'em and its
quite a climb, be more fun on 33/35s...

One step off and one step on!!

My drivers side step gave way due to a considerably weight being applied to it:nenau I now have to climb in without it:lol

The steps on the Troll are fixed to the floor and the sill! The sill takes the weight over 3 points and the floor fixings prevent the bending moment.. When not rotted through!!!!

I have some 40mm steel tube in the garage that I plan to make some rock sliders with to replace the GAY steps. Just need some time and a heavy duty bender!!:doh Please no jokes:thumbs

Also just hacked a hole in the front wing as part of Project Snorkell!:naughty
