Probably been asked loads but,
discovered a leaky shock on the rear,so after information on upgrading rear shocks and springs.
Recommendations for a online supplier please.

Are you wanting standard ride hight or lifted ? you can get standard height springs with the normal spring rate or ones 20% stronger if you carry heavy loads or they might be better if you tow a caravan but the caravan owners will know better about this:augie

I have the rough country's from llama. And love them highly recommended and great bloke to deal with but recommend ringing him a lot easier

I'm running rough country all round on mine brilliant shocks however I find them a bit soft.

You can't go further than +2" on the front or you CV joints start to fail fast due to the angle they are under, a lot just fit a set of spring spacers on the back:augie

Thanks for the advice, was thinking of just changing the rear for now and adjusting the torsion bars on the front.
Good idea or not?
When I'm not messing around in the mud I use the truck daily for my job as a plumber and in the summer a couple of weekends a month for camping. I rarely tow as I'm rubbish at going backwards:eek:
Not sure what you mean by spring spacers.

I lifted mine with 3" Spring spacers at the back, which was not really a true 3" lift, as my rear springs were a bit tired, and I think an inch or so lower than they should have been. I also wound the torsion bars up at the front, but left it just a bit lower than the back, as I did not want to "Over wind" the bars, and I will need to re-index them to go any higher anyway. I have not done either sets of shocks yet, but do want to, at some point soon.

I also have a 2" body lift, but I have to say, I don't think the truck handles any differently now on the road than it did before.

2 things to note if you lift the rear suspension, firstly, you need to make a spacer up for where the rear hand brake bowden cables are fixed to the body, as it pulls to tight here, and I have found that the exhaust touches the N/S shock when the car leans going round Right hand bends, and I will need to look into finding a way to get a bit more clearance there.

Rough country on rear for soft flex ect, front I'm running pro comp es9000 a bit harder :thumb2

Same as the pro comps but they are off road biased so will be softer on the road.

Is yours a SWB or a LWB? If it's a SWB get a set of LWB springs and that will give you an extra inch height on the back :thumbs
