HI GANG.
I got up Saturday did the tappets first time they have been done in 40k.
no 3,4,5 were all tight (no free play at all) and no 8 had a gap of 55mm.
set all to 25mm engine just slightly warm. running for 5 mins.
had an injector loose so took that out cleaned a lot of residue out of threads refitted found a cracked bleed of pipe so drilled out old one soldered pipe in again and used a plastic pipe to connect it back to the rail.
UPDATE INJECTOR LEAKING AGAIN where is the lock tight
MINI FILTER :?
took power steering pump of took banjo bolt out .(NO SPRING OR FILTER)
AM NOW DRAGGING AIR IN SO WILL HAVE TO REMOVE BANJO AND CLEAN SURFACES UP AND WIPE WASHER .I PUT IT BACK WITHOUT CLEANING IT UP SO SUSPECT A BIT OF GRIT OR SOMETHING IN THERE.
MAKES ME WONDER
