Hi,
Also check all hoses, wires, condiuts etc. I found lots of wear marks, v type notches etc, my auto dipstick was wearing through the water hose that feeds the heater, several wear marks on small pipes that run under intercooler, diesel pipes rubbing against each other. I used tape, cable ties and bits of rubber to stop chafing.
might save you some money and a possible break down.
