Rustic I don't know if this helps, but when I worked for Rover (thats why I got a T2 not a LR) we used to change fuel filters every 12000 mile or 1 year which ever was sooner. I will be replacing my fuel filter in October by which time i'll have had the T2 a year & will have done about 10K

Wow that's more often than I thought, Now I have done one then next one I can do in 20 minutes, boy I was sweating yesterday when I thought I'd killed the Mav.... Had to wait till my wife got home to borrow her car to go and get a real one. Thanks for info.

From the manual, MA 5 onwards for those that have it

TD27Ti engine

Oil and oil filter replace every 6000 miles or 6 months

Air filter clean every 12000miles or 12months - replace evry 24000 miles or 24 months

Fuel Filter replace every 24 months

Coolant change at 48000 miles or 4 years then every 36000 miles or 3 years


ZD30DDTi engine

Oil and oil filter replace every 9000 miles or 12 months

Air filter clean every 36000 miles or 48 months

Fuel Filter replace every 36000 miles or 48 months

Coolant change at 54000 miles or 5 years then every 36000 miles or 4 years

i dont think my concience would let me leave my oil in engine for 9k im letting it go 6k this time as itll drop milage onto 59k then another 6k will get me onto 65k then ill do it every 5k to keep maths simple! it makes me feel bettr that previous keeper let it do 10k on its oil !
