martin

Are you sure its so bad?

Surely the chassis doesnt rot so badly?

Where abouts in Yorkshire are you?

I know a really good welder in Barnsley and hes very reasonable with his prices.

Is the leather interior black?

Is the gear lever knob black leather and is it in good condition?

My gearknob is rather ratty and I am after a better one.

Interested?

Hi Marti as said in the email, Im defo interested and will make some enquiries about traansporting it home and let you know this evening.

Cheers

Well guys, the trailer is hired ready for tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to collecting the truck, will post some pics.

First job will be to remove the front bumper and wings so that I can see how much welding is needed. Will decide then about fixing it up or using it as a donor for mine and selling a few bits off on here.

Wish me luck towing it home:thumb2

Cheers FB. Way I look at it is that at the worst Ive got a load of spares and at the very best I get a good strong motor. Not a daily ride so all the time in the world to work on it as theres no pressure to get it done. Really looking forward to getting the truck. Also think its great that yet another truck is staying in the club.

Glad Jim's taken the challenge I love the truck but just don't have the expertise to do it justice, now on the downside I'm nissan less but the wife has a fr**lander so canI still stay....:augie

You dont need to have a Nissan to stay here, just look at Briggie he's part of the furniture and wouldnt be the same without him. As for Nissan less, you might have the bug and need to get one:thumb2

But thanks it's going to a good home:clap

Of course you can stay, :thumb2 good people are what make this forum, if we bottled every non Terrano owner out... Well... You get the idea :)

P.s... There is one rule though....

Your not allowed to buy a disco ;)

Went passed Motorhog yesterday. Glad its not going there. All those cars on racks, like an open air graveyard. David.

Funny that, we drove past a motorhog on the way home. Me and my son both looked across at the office and said nah nah lol:lol

Got it home without too much drama, the old girl towed the trailer and her sister home effortlessly. I had been a little worried about the trip hom but I needn't of. Kept around 50 ish but it could quite easily of cruised 60 no problem Im sure.

Got loads to do for the rest of the day but when Im sorted Ill start a thread with pics and see how it goes.

Great to meet you Martin, sorry I couldn't stay to chat but as you know I needed to get home and the trailer back to the hire company.

Thanks again.

if all else fails jim it would make a great base for a mobile aerial tower :naughty

Just looking through some old posts and came across this thread. I'd forgotten about it and hasn't the truck had a long but worth while journey.

So since this thread was started the trucks back on the road, me and my son have gained loads of experience and had a blast. Marti is still a member on here :clap

Alls well that ends well:clap:clap
