Wife came home yesterday & said her Jeep WJ was making a noise.
When questioned further she described it as if there were Seagus following her!

When I took it for a test drive not a sound for the first half a mile then realised I too was being folowed by Seagulls.

Booked in at local garage for service next week & to investigate bird sounds - methinks it's one of the belt pulleys as a spray of the auxillary drive belts seems to fix it for a while.

Seagull Noise

Garage checked and found the noise - suspected leak in the intercooler was the diagnosis.

A few days later and the noise had gone so whatever it was the visiting bird noise is no more.
It has ceased to be!

many years ago out on a test drive in a brand new rover 416 driving along the sea front a seagull swooped down and hit the front of the rover, through the grill and got stuck in the rad,now that truly was a seagull noise that stopped as the fan cut its head off.i was losing water but drove it back to the dealership and we had to repair and clean up before the new owner was collecting it the same day.
