Not Maverick related but I need a bit of advice

My scooter does not have hazard lights and having engine management I am worried about blowing the board.

I can easily make 4 way flashers with a hazard relay, my fear is linking the output to the existing may blow everything up.

I have the wiring diagram and it clearly shows a diode in each flasher lead as it exits the panel, so I feel fairly safe, but could do with a second opinion

Currently I have simply shorted both outputs together with a switch to make all 4 flash but I need the ign on for this to work

In case of an emergency I want to be able to have the ign off but still have hazards

I have found a permanent live near the flasher connections

So could one of you who knows auto electrics take a look at the wiring diagram and advise me, yes or no

I can post the diagram here OK

TIA dave

It's up to you what you do with your scooter mate but I have to ask......

Why the need for them? My Gilera doesn't have hazards :nenau

Just seems a lot of work for not much gain

If I come across an RTC I would like to be able to warn traffic

There is not much work, the hazard switch is there anyway I just need to be sure I will not fry the electricary by sending voltage the wrong way, BUT I am hoping the built in diodes will stop it, just need advice from someone who knows this stuff
