What wonderful things... when you understand them. They are more than just an A to B route finder.
I have a TomTom and I programmed it to highlight certain things that may be close to the route Im driving.

And Tom (of TomTom fame) told me of much more than I asked... Amazingly it pointed out wildlife (as in animals) as we came across them... and specifically he pointed out bears.
As I drove the highways and byeways of rural yorkshire my TomTom occassionally said "bear left".. or "bear right". Sadly I didn't see any bears because Im a good and careful driver and as such I kept my eyes on the road....

By the way.... are there any bears left in England other than the sad few/many kept in zoo's????

My daughter just had a long weekend away and borrowed my wifes sat nav, she complained it took her to the camp site no problem, it just could not find the entrance, :nenau:nenau Rick

I remember that "Convoy" song from the 80's,, "A bear in the air"
That's, where they are, but don't look up......
Remember ! "Every one who walks under cow, deserve Pat on back":lol

Go onto the garmin web site and spend loads of dosh on a new download.

Probably cheaper to buy a new one :doh

I have a garmin Nuvi 300, and 2 weeks ago it refused to work, it couldn't lock onto any satellites and if it did it could only find 2 or 3.
I wonder if it was the solar activity, as it's been ok this last week.
I was in Llangollen on Saturday, and just been down to Richmond today.
Worked great..
