Yes and no same turbo but the output to the engine is diff as the tdi goes to an intercooler and the td goes to a round pipe across the engine hope that helps:thumbs

Ah now I remember, straight pipe/bent pipe was the difference. Now then, what about the post 2001 model ? Plenty of them cheap on Ebay...

From what I no if its off a 2.7 tdi (intercooler) it should fit but I maybe wrong:augie
