please note : dont heat the oil if your running 50/50 or less , Diesel loses its lubrication properties when it warm.

Gets more complicated. What if I add 2 stroke oil?
I think I will just stick with diesel.

If you were to heat it as that's what you would normally run on but then had to top up to get you home making it around 50/50, would 2 stroke oil compensate.?
kenlowe do a pre heater.. heats the engin and the inside od the car..
then with my heat exchanger ill be sotered.
just need to save for a heater...
Because there are plenty of people on here who have been running 50/50 SVO/Diesel for yonks without modification or problem....in my case paying 50p a litre for sunflower oil. That a good enough reason?

where you get your oil from at the price?
Adz the heating thing is only about viscosity, i.e. hot treacle is runnier than cold treacle....2-stroke has no effect whatsoever on viscosity.
Plenty of people run on higher ratios without problem, its really only in winter I wouldn't advise going above 50/50.
And theres very little that will tackle the biggest likely issue, that of poor cold starting, cos the startup fuel is already in the pipes. Best solution to the problem is definitely using the Peugeot heated filter assembly :clap :thumbs as used on most of their diesels and easily available from the scrapper....oh thats YOU :doh :lol now! :thumbs
