Have just changed all the rear brakes (pads + shoes) & noticed A lot of bare surface rust showing , remember there being A thread about rust converters A few weeks back & was wondering which came out on top ? Hoping to not find much more :bow

I have had success with 'Vactan' you can get it from ebay, it is cheap and water based and (I think) it was originally developed for the marine industry. It works well and according to the data sheet is also pretty safe to use. Brushes clean up in water :thumb2

i've also used vactan with good results
