So I saw a Maverick a while ago at the traffic lights that was in mint condition and did the usual "do you want to sell that" trick :naughty

The guy laughed at me and said if I had a quid for every time someone asked me that, I passed him my number and had a call yesterday, he said he was running late a few days ago to drop his wife off for a scan at the hospital and managed to reverse into a low yellow post which smashed his rear bumper light cluster and left some yellow paint on the bumper.

I swapped the cluster for him as he was an elderly gentleman and couldn't really bend down, charged him £10 all in :thumbs

He's the 2nd owner of it apparently and has had years and years, believe me it's in good nick!!!!

Seeing the reflection of the leaded windows on the Maverick, that could be a good mod to the Mav... leaded windows, play havoc with the rear electric windows though.

I am still a great believer that the earlier Mavericks had better under body protection than the Terranos.
The reason, I believe, was... this was the first " Ford badged " car to be sold in the UK with three years warranty, they had to be sure lol...

luv the colour of the bumpers and arch trims, mine are a grotty greyish colour, what the secret?

Well done Banshee, but why are we always surprised, when someone does what a good citizen.......should do?
