Ref my last question regarding a rubbing noise coming from the rear shells area.
As advised I had all pads and shoes checked front and rear, all changed for new.
However still getting the noise.
It is definitely louder on full lock particuarly over rough ground.I have put it. Into four wheel drive and out to see if anything is sticking, but makes no difference.
When driving at any speed right up to 80mph, I cannot hear anything at all,but when I slow down and gear down to get into my drive which is a slight incline I get this sort of rubbing/grinding noise.always from the rear end.
The car itself runs superbly well.
Does anyone have any ideas what this might be. Might it be worth running it in 4wheel drive for a couple of miles to see if any improvement, say coming into my drive in 4wheel drive to see if it still occurs.
Thanks
Jon
